I mentioned the other day in the And… we’re back! post that one of our dogs is a good snake catcher and that she’s catching pretty tame snakes. I may need to recall that statement. I’ve often wondered what the garter snakes eat. I now know the answer and I also now know why the garter snakes in our yard are so large.
